AUGUSTA, GA — The accident happened on Saturday, Jan.29 around 10:30 p.m. at Bobby Jones Expressway and Gordon Highway where a woman died in a car crash.
The victim was a 62-year-old Peggy Wright.
The victim is identified as Peggy Wright, 62, of Augusta.
I-520 is considered Augusta’s most dangerous road, after nine fatal crashes in 2021 occurred on this highway.
