AUGUSTA, Ga. – An Augusta man has been arrested in connection in a homicide last month at a Gordon Highway restaurant.
Andrew D. Gaines, 31, was arrested Monday and booked into the jail on charges of murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and theft.
Gaines is accused of shooting Nicklaus Wilson, 32, just before 2 a.m. March 22 outside the Waffle House at 1629 Gordon Highway. He is also accused of taking a 2018 Kia Sportage the same night.
