Shooting in Augusta, 3 lives were taken, one’s condition unknown

AUGUSTA, GA – Two victims were dead on the scene from gunshot wounds, and the third one was taken to Augusta University Medical Center, whose condition is unknown. 

Reportedly, it all happened around 5 p.m. on Friday in the 2500 Block of Hammond Avenue.

Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Investigators identified the victims as Raven Michelle Tolbert and Mercedes Nora Shanice Gibson, both 27-year-old friends.

The third victim was the suspect,  Tarrez Latrell Booker, 26, who shot himself at Gordon Inn Suites on Molly Pond Road and passed away early in the morning.

Allegedly, investigators believe that the shooting is domestic-related.
