Augusta, GA – According to the police officials, his name is Frederick A Torrey III and he has been charged with murder and neglect of a disabled adult, elder person or resident.
His mother was found dead at a home on Buffington Drive on Sunday.
The 75-year-old man called the police to report the death of his mother.
Authorities say that he failed to provide health care in a manner in which provided a sustainable quality of life.
He willfully deprived his mother of healthcare to the extent that her wellbeing was jeopardized and failed to provide basic necessities.
The 75-year-old man was booked Monday morning at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
