Adrian Blue, 54, is charged with child molestation, accused of exposing himself and fondling a 10-year-old girl in December 2018. The man he is accused of attacking in the Charles B. Webster Detention Center has been held on a charge of rape since July 7, 2019.

On Friday in Richmond County Superior Court, Assistant District Attorney Kevin Davis said the attack occurred Feb. 8. The victim was stabbed in the face, neck, chest and stomach, Davis said.

Defense attorney Lee Prescott asked Chief Judge Carl C. Brown Jr. to consider bond for Blue, saying the stabbed man was actually the aggressor who brought the shank to the altercation, which started in Blue’s cell.

Brown denied bond.
