AUGUSTA, Ga. – A Richmond County Deputy was injured after crashing into a home Sunday night.
According to the sheriff’s office, the deputy was responding to a call around 6:31 p.m. and was traveling on the 1500 block of Goshen Road when he struck a house. The deputy was transported to AU Medical Center and his injuries are not life threatening.
No other injuries were reported. The deputy’s identity is not being released at this time and the accident is currently under investigation.
