North Augusta, SC- On Wednesday night around 11 p.m. one man was shot in the Planet Fitness parking lot.
North Augusta Public Safety officers responded to the shooting incident at 1127 Knox Ave.
According to the incident report, a red car and another vehicle were involved in this shooting and fled the scene.
Both the vehicles could not be located.
Later, at the University Hospital in Augusta, a victim with gunshot wounds was dropped off by a red car.
An investigation is still open.
