AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Health has updated its visitation policy for patients and families in AU Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
Two individuals may now visit a patient’s bedside. The individuals may change out with others as long as the patient does not have COVID-19 or is not severely immunocompromised.
At Children’s Hospital, two individuals may visit a pediatric patient’s bedside. The individuals may change out with two additional individuals identified as support persons, such as grandparents.
Support persons must be 18 or older.
All visitors must continue to wear masks while in the facility.
