AUGUSTA, Ga. – All Augusta-Richmond County government offices will be closed Thursday, March 18, due to the potential for severe weather.
Many city employees will still be working remotely, a posting on the city’s website said, and residents are encouraged to call those workers offices for needed services.
The city expects to reopen its offices Friday.
